23 "Agatha All Along" Details And Easter Eggs From Episode 7 That You Might've Missed The First Time

I'm ready to give Patti LuPone, Jac Schaeffer, and everyone involved in this Agatha All Along episode Emmy Awards.

🚨 There are obviously MASSIVE spoilers ahead for Agatha All Along Episode 7, as well as WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness! 🚨

    1. First, this week's Agatha All Along episode is titled "Death's Hand in Mine," which is another lyric from "The Ballad of the Witches' Road," but it also connects to Lilia pulling the Death card later on.

The image shows the text "Death's Hand In Mine" and a hand holding a tarot card labeled "Death," depicting a skeletal figure

    2. There have been several references to Alice in Wonderland throughout Agatha All Along, and so Lilia's falling into darkness in the opening minutes of Episode 7 mirror Alice falling into Wonderland, too.

    3. Agatha mentions that Billy can't read her mind, which is similar to what she told Wanda in WandaVision Episode 8.

Agatha telling Billy he'll get a nosebleed if he tries reading her mind vs Agatha telling Wanda she'll give herself a migraine if she tries

    4. Agatha calls herself Billy's "old babysitter," which is, of course, a nod to WandaVision, especially in Episode 7 when Agatha takes Billy and Tommy to her house.

    5. Not to keep harping on the "Wanda is not really dead" theory, but so far, Agatha is the only person who has questioned whether Wanda is actually dead starting in Episode 1.

Agatha telling Billy Wanda "maybe" isn't dead vs. Agatha in Episode 1 saying "you never know" if Wanda is dead

    6. Billy asks Agatha if she saw "a body" when referring to Wanda, which is a hilarious nod to the TV trope where if you don't see a body, they might not actually be dead.

Billy asking Agatha if she saw a body, and Agatha saying she did but doesn't know if anyone else did too

    7. Like all the previous trials, you can see a depiction of the phases of the moon before Agatha and Billy enter the castle. The phase in the middle is a Waning Gibbous, aka the phase right before a Full Moon, which I'd assume will be depicted in the final episodes.

    8. When Agatha and Billy step inside the castle, they are transformed into famous witches. First, Agatha is dressed as the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz.

    9. And, Billy is dressed as Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent.

    10. The swords being a crucial component of this trial also links to tarot. The Suit of Swords tarot cards "are often double-edged and in this way the Suit of Swords symbolizes the fine balance between intellect and power and how these two elements can be used for good or evil."

    11. When trying to rush through the tarot trial, Agatha throws down a bunch of cards. The cards she places are: The World, Wheel of Fortune, Ten of Swords, Five of Wands, Two of Wands, Page of Swords, and The Hanged Man.

    12. Later in the episode, Lilia describes what each spot on the board means, so here's where Agatha's corresponding cards land, too.

    13. When Lilia and Jen arrive in the castle for the trial, they are also transformed into famous witches. First, Lilia is dressed as Glinda the Good Witch from The Wizard of Oz.

    14. And Jen is dressed as the Witch/Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

    15. Billy tells Lilia he's reading her mind because it's "so loud," which is the opposite of what Billy tells Agatha in WandaVision Episode 7.

    16. Agatha calls Lilia "Dory," which is a nod to Dory from Finding Nemo who, like Lilia, keeps forgetting things.

    17. At one point, you can see Jen holding an apple, which is a nod to the Witch in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs giving Snow White a poisoned apple.

    18. Of course, the first card Billy pulls is The Magician, which also corresponds to his powers as Wiccan.

    19. On the Three of Pentacles tarot card, you can see that each member of the coven — Agatha, Lilia, Jen, Alice, Billy, and Rio — is represented. The logo from the brochure where Lilia writes down the names of the coven in Episode 2 is also shown.

    20. When discussing the coven, Lilia also said they were "singular voices waiting to harmonize," which is a nod to when they all sang "The Ballad of the Witches' Road" in Episode 2 and discussed their harmonies.

    21. As Lilia is placing tarot cards, there are obviously shots from previous episodes where members of the coven resemble the cards. This one of Agatha for the Three of Swords is just so stunning I had to include it here.

    22. Although we all saw it coming, Rio is officially revealed to be "the original green witch," aka Death. Death has appeared a few times in Marvel comics, first in Marvel Mystery Comics (1939) Issue #10, with the modern, more well-known version of the character first appearing in Captain Marvel (1968) Issue #26.

    23. And finally, when Lilia turns everything upside down and kills the Salem Seven, you'll notice only five are impaled on the swords, which means two members are likely still out there.
